Melissa was a joy to work with. We had a two flavored two tier wedding cake that was ombred from white to teal with wave effects. It was delicious! We also had a couple bride and groom cake pops that we decided to take home instead of our top tier for our one year anniversary. She's very easy to get a hold of and very responsive. We would absolutely use her again so our custom cake needs.

Growing up in a small town in West Virginia, Melissa always dreamed BIG! She envisioned herself owning her own business and doing something that she loved. Now with over 8 years of cake making experience; Melissa has finally realized that her dreams have come true. Melissa prides herself in being self-taught. To help enhance her natural talent, she has taken classes at the ICE in New York City and Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. Melissa once tried to explain how a “Cake Bakers” brain works. She was quoted as saying, “It is like having a thousand tabs open on the Internet all at the same time.” We are all very lucky that Melissa has chosen Charleston, SC as her home and business headquarters. She has a passion for creativity and a vision for excellence.

Melissa was an absolute breeze to work with from day 1. She made some of the most BEAUTIFUL cupcakes, gold dusted macaroons, cake pops, and wedding cake for my wedding at the Cedar Room last weekend! EVERYONE was talking about how delicious it all was & I am still being asked who they need to contact to have cakes this delicious & beautiful!
